C-Pass Renewal

It's that time of the year to renew your C-Pass. If you did not renew it by mail, you have until September 30 to do so. As a service to Key Biscayne residents, Miami-Dade County Public Works employees will be at the Community Center this Saturday September 25 to help you with the renewal. Bring your car registration, driver's license and proof of residency such as an utility bill, lease or deed to obtain the $24 rate for residents. Otherwise, you have to pay $60 for the commuter rate.
Rumor has it that C-Passes will be eventually replaced by the Sun Pass.

Fall is upon us

With the arrival of Fall, we begin to feel cooler (as in Florida cooler) weather. I notice with the decrease in humidity, more walkers, cyclists, and active Key Biscayners. There is a nice breeze at night time. Perfect weather for outdoors dinners.
